GERMANY BECK DEVELOPMENT

Monday 5th December 2011

Persimmon Homes and Hogg the Builder will shortly lodge reserved matters planning application for the residential development of Germany Beck. The outline permission was granted well over four years ago. Persimmon intend to mount a public exhibition of their detailed proposals in the Old Library within the Social Hall, School Lane, Fulford on Friday 9th December between 2.30pm and 8.00pm.

The City of York Council, with the assistance of Fulford Parish Council, is in the course of reforming a Germany Beck Public Consulation Forum. The Group does not necessarily need to consist of its former membership. A meeting to decide the membership of a Consultation Group will take place in the School Hall at St. Oswald's Primary School at 6.00pm on Wednesday 14th December. Although the Ward Councillor and the Parish Council are both attempting to secure an extension of time IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ANYONE OR ANY RECOGNISED COMMUNITY ORGANISATION INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE CONSULTATIONFORUM SHOULD SO INFORM KATHERINE ATKINSON (katherine.atkinson@york.gov.uk) and SALLY CAWTHORNE (sally.cawthorne@york.gov.uk) as soon as possible.
