Fulford Village Conservation Area (No. 30)

Fulford Village was first designated a Conservation Area in 1998 and re-appraised in 2008 when the boundaries were extended to protect additional areas to the north and south of the village. It now includes the whole of historic village core, the western part of Heslington Lane, most of the parkland of Connaught Court (including the Sir John Hunt Homes) together with the Fulford Park housing development. To the south, the washland areas around the A19 approach road together with Stone Bridge are also included.
